If you promote your network marketing business on Facebook, you've probably seen Facebook MLM videos all over the place. These are usually people making videos to promote their business, or to give value. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know that I absolutely recommend video marketing, and I think it's the best form of marketing you can do online. But what's my take on network marketing videos on Facebook? Do I think they're a waste of time?
Any Point of Facebook MLM Videos?
Sorry for the suspense, the answer is gonna be pretty short, but there's a lot of explanation behind it too. But yes, I think Facebook MLM videos are great and I think they're one of the best MLM Facebook marketing strategies. If you're friends with me on Facebook, you'll know that I regularly put out videos. So why do I suggest that using videos in MLM Facebook posts could be a waste of time?
MLM Facebook Marketing Strategies
Here's a list of pros and cons of Facebook MLM videos.
Pros: Your audience will see it. The people who are interested in business will see it and it will give them value, but also the people who are not necessarily interested in it will see it too and you'll have gained more exposure from someone who wouldn't have gone out to look for your video. Any interactions on your video will increase exposure even further, and on the rare occasion, your video can go viral. The platform is also very user friendly so it's very easy to upload your video and easy for people to share it.
Cons: Your video has a lifespan. After 1-2 days (maybe 3 if you're extremely popular) your content will lose visibility. People won't scroll that far back into the newsfeed so your content can't reach any more people. It will still be visible on your Facebook profile, but even if people visit your profile, they're not going to scroll back past a week's worth of content to see your MLM Facebook posts. Your video has pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth at this point.
I want you to think about something for a minute. In the network marketing industry, we all work for residual income, right? So why not work for residual leads too?
The way to do this is to repurpose your content. If you just have it on Facebook, it's gone pretty quickly. However, if you go and repurpose that content, for example on a blog, or on a YouTube channel (you can subscribe to mine here if you aren't already) it can now be found by people over and over, they can enjoy it and get value from it. Your content can now even be found in search engines. If you're just doing Facebook MLM videos, that's a good start, but you're missing a huge window of opportunity.
So here's how I get the residual leads that I mentioned. I take the same videos that I upload to Facebook and I upload them to YouTube, and I upload them to my blog as well. This gets me leads, sales and signups from a video that I did 3 months ago, or maybe even 6 months ago. People get value from the content I create, and if they want more help, or if they interested in finding out what business I promote, I'll either generate a lead, a sale or a sign up. Even if I don't generate any lead or sale then, that's ok, I've still built up value with that person. Now when you do this, the person will be more warmed up to you when they return and more likely to join you or buy from you at a later date.
This all comes from repurposing my content, pretty crazy right!?
You can even do it on more places online if you wish to. I focus on Facebook, my blog and YouTube.
This is how you really leverage!
