If there was one action you could take on a consistent daily basis to build your business, what would it be? From my experience, and every other top earner in the industry, I would say without a doubt that it's following up with people. Have you heard the saying, the fortune is in the follow up?
What does this mean? If you're familiar with sales, you may know that the average prospect doesn't buy something on the first exposure, nor the second… It actually takes following up with them, to get them to a point where they're ready to buy or join you. Your prospect may have questions, they may be shopping around, they may just want to know that there's someone real wanting to help them out.
Here I'll teach you how to explode your business through following up.
The Fortune is in the Follow Up
If you don't follow up, you can't build your business, you can't close sales, you can't make any money, and you can't impact any lives.
So you want to fill up your pipeline with prospects, and then follow up with those prospects.
Following up is emphasized in a lot of MLM training, but they don't tell you how many people to follow up with, how often, nor that they should be highly qualified. (You're better off following up with 10 highly qualified prospects, than 100 of your Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob). I'm sure you've heard the fortune is in the follow up, but that only applies when your prospects are qualified. There's a useful 4 step to follow up process here.
You need to do this on a daily basis. Talking to one prospect a week won't cut it! In fact, if you only have one person a week to talk to about your business, you won't build your business very quickly and you will be so dependent on signing up that person that your prospect will see your desperation.
Nobody wants to join someone who is desperate. So you want to have an abundance of people to follow up with.
My goal is to follow up with a minimum of 3-5 people every single day.
This reduces scarcity, as I always have new people to talk to about my business, and when you're following up with 3-5 new people per day, you can't not build your business.
This is not only one of the best mlm tips for beginners, but also for advanced marketers too.
When you have abundance, you don't have to be pushy, begging or trying to close everyone.
You can simply put out information, follow up, and collect decisions.
People will join you, and if not today or tomorrow, how long do you think it will take you to start seeing results when you're following up with 3-5 new people every single day? Secret, this is the key to MLM success.
When you do things this way, you can focus on your prospects' needs, wants, and goals, instead of just trying to close them. And when you do this, they're more likely to come and join you. People are attracted to that authentic connection.

I also follow up with people, even just to help them out. If someone needs help with blogging or videos for example, I still follow up and help them. This business is long term, even if someone doesn't join you today or tomorrow, they may be ready to join someone 6-12 months down the line, and they're more likely to join someone who has helped them out, than someone who just wants to sign them up. Remember, the fortune is in the follow up.
