If you're in network marketing and you're not yet getting the kind of success you want, it may be time to invest in network marketing.
And you might say, but I've already invested in my business … WRONG! Investing in network marketing isn't just the same as your initial investment into your business. You see, every business requires an ongoing investment, and this isn't the same as just your initial investment or investing into your products or services on a monthly basis. The Right Time to Invest in Network Marketing
A lot of people think that it's not important to invest in their business. As I mentioned above, many people feel that their business cost alone is enough.
Network marketing is a great opportunity, with a great upside of residual income but it's still a business and requires investment. Most traditional business owners understand this.
The pizza shop owner doesn't invest into a wood burning oven to cook pizzas after he or she has made some money. The barber shop owner doesn't invest in the chairs after a few hundred hair cuts so they “have the money to invest.” All the time I hear network marketers say this…
- I'll invest when I have more money.
- When I'm making more money, then I'll invest.
- If only I had more money, I would invest.
Now if you've said any of these things, welcome to the club, I've said them too. And do you know what results I had at the time… Absolutely none! You need to invest in your business, every top earner has done it.
This mindset was literally what held me back from success in network marketing. This industry is just like any other business, there are skills you need to learn, and they require investment.
In fact, I think you'd be hard pressed to find even one mlm top earner who has been successful without investing in, books, training courses, seminars, tools to grow their business online etc.
These investments can include books, training courses, CDs, seminars, online tools, travelling for events etc. I personally build my business primarily online, so I use the kinds of tools you can find here.
The decision to invest in network marketing is mandatory, in my opinion, and has to be done as soon as you start your network marketing business.
I didn't, and it held me back. I thought that investing to start the business, and products would be enough to carry me forward.
Why Do Network Marketers Say These Things?
I believe the reluctance to invest in network marketing is related to the low cost of entry to get into the industry. Most traditional businesses require an investment of $200,000 or $300,000, just because your business didn't cost that much to start, doesn't mean you should take it any less seriously or treat it as less of a business than these people who invested large sums of money.
The person who invested $300,000 has a lot more to lose than the person who invested $500 into a network marketing business.
If you treat your business like a business, it will pay you like a business. If you treat your business like a hobby, it will cost you like a hobby.
Treating your business like a business, involves investing in network marketing, it is a part of the business, and the sooner you start doing it, the sooner you will start seeing results.
Don't think it's just about investing money though, investing your time is another key component.
Here's what I recommend as the best time you can invest in network marketing.
